GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The new Nautitech 47 Powercat, offers speed and fuel economy to get you to your destination efficiently and in luxurious comfort. It is lighter than its competitors and has sporty, sleekest lines, with less resistance to the wind and maximized fuel economy

The Power Cat 47 is the fastest Nautitech ever build !

With an available top speed of 22 knots (with the optional upgrade from twin 225 HP to twin 300 HP), this catamaran doesn’t just have powerful acceleration; its cruising range of 1000 miles at a speed of nearly 9 knots is also testimony to its endurance. With her incredibly efficient hull shape and wave-piercing bows, she is very quiet and comfortable underway. With twin engines over 20ft apart, maneuverability is superb, and with a Simrad docking camera aft, coming alongside or stern to short-handed is straightforward.

COMFORT

The Nautitech 47 powercat has been designed with distinct living areas aboard. The Bridge Deck has an ergonomic helm position and, with seating for 10, the panoramic views from the bridge make it a very popular vantage point. There is a generous hard top bimini, affording plenty of shade, the table and handily located wet bar and fridge means that you can enjoy hours relaxing on the upper deck with a cold drink in hand.

Forward steps lead down to the outside lounge area in the bow, with additional steps amidships leading into the fabulous cockpit. This expansive cockpit leads seamlessly through large sliding doors to the beautifully designed salon. You can experience al fresco living afloat at its very best, by combining dinner with up to ten friends at the teak table in the cockpit, before retiring to the saloon lounge for coffee.

VERSATILITY

The stern of the Nautitech 47 Powercat is multi-faceted, with the yard referring to it as ‘the terrace’! The lifting platform between the hulls can be used as a Tenderlift or as a bathing paradise. It easily lifts the 12ft rigid inflatable tender with 15hp outboard out of the water. In its central position, it links the two transoms to create a platform that becomes a wonderful area for sunbathing right next to the water. When the platform is completely lowered into the water, the Nautitech 47 even has its own beach in shallow water.

CONNECTIVITY

The Nautitech 47 incorporates Naviops into the Simrad electronics suite. With a Simrad 12” NSS Evo 3 Chartplotter in the ‘sky lounge’, and another at the helm station, you have state of the art cartography on top of the Naviops system to run all your 12 volts shipps systems, as well as seeing the status on batteries, fuel, water etc. The Simrad VHF has AIS and a wireless handset. The Autopilot is the Simrad SG 05.

The Flybridge has more space than other cats of the same size, it connects to the foredeck, includes a wet bar with fridge and is covered by a tough Hardtop Bimini (with LED lighting).

The Open concept offers a vast covered cockpit which extends the saloon outside and gives several areas to relax both in or out of the sun. The side decks are wide and offer easy, safe access from the transom to the foredeck.

STRENGTH

The construction is state of the art. The boat is built under a tightly controlled vacuum infusion, which is a very efficient and clean process, enabling tight resin to fiberglass ratios.  Very thorough ‘wetting out’ eliminates any weak dry laminates, resulting in a very stiff and durable construction, with a significantly better power to weight ratio than competitors. The yard only uses vinylester resin, as opposed to polyester resin, which means that the boats are not at risk from osmosis.
