Caymas Boats are built for the fisherman that has a family. Of course, there are rod holders, bait wells, fish boxes and tackle drawers but there are other standard features to make the boat more family friendly such as the good size head with toilet inside the console. On most center consoles here is a seat in front of the console, but on the Caymas 341 CC it is much larger than many other boats, not wider, but longer to stretch your legs out when cruising, with a bonus of a very large storage compartment below the chaise lounge style seating.

Forward of the console on each side of the boat are folding seats, out of the way for fishing but easy access for seating for guests. An added feature are the USB power outlets at each seat for charging and powering any electronics. There are drink holders here for the people using the bench seats, but not just for drinks, they are combination drink holder/rod holders. Another folding bench seat at the aft end of the cockpit adds additional seating for family and friends and the dive door makes swimming from the boat so much easier to get back on board. The fresh water tank is 35 gallons so guest scan rinse the salt off after a swim or fisherman can use it for swabbing the decks. The cleats on the boat are all pop up, which is great to have them out of the way for fishing, but also helps guests for preventing stubbed toes, or catching limbs or clothes when swimming from the boat.

A very special feature for Florida boaters who have so may bridges to pass under, is the swivel mount for the open array radar antenna that allows it to swing down below the hardtop to clear lower bridges.

Some of the features of the boat are notable, such as the hardtop is supported by a welded aluminum frame with glass windows instead of vinyl, and even has an electric windshield wiper. The batteries and battery switches are located under the helm seat rather than in the bilge for easy access. All of the door and compartment covers are secured with positive locking latches and most have weather stripping to help keep them dry. Many compartment latches have locks fo help protect fishing gear. The helm seats have armrests and a fold down center drink holder. The anchor has a washdown switch inside the anchor locker. A hose storage reel is located conviently near the console for fresh water washdowns. The outriggers can be lowered from the helm. The large ice cooler below the helm seat is on an electric slide that brings the cooler out from under the seat at the push of a button.The entire helm and instrument panel is mounted on hinges for access to the electronics and gauges. The door to the head inside the console has magnetic latch to hold it open rather than a hand or foot release to close it. There is a small fresh air hatch on the front windshield for ventilation on hot days. There are three seperate fuel filters with water alarms and clear fuel bowls for quick inspections.

The boat and hull design are from Michael Peters, who started his naval architecture career designing high performance and race boats. Thousands of boats have been built using his designs including productions boats from Viking, Bertram, Chris Craft and more. The hull features the patented Stepped-Vee Ventilated Tunnel (SVVT) which increases speed by reducing drag. Caymas boats are built by Earl Bentz, a very experienced boat builder who started and sold other well-known boat building companies, including Triton and Stratos. Caymas offers a limited transferable hull warranty and the Mercury engines are under warranty now with an extended warranty available. The boat has been lift kept and has an optional fresh water flush for the engines.

The Caymas 341 CC is designed for serious saltwater tournament anglers as well as discriminating weekend fishermen and their families. Like all Caymas bluewater models, it features the patented Stepped-Vee Ventilated Tunnel (SVVT) Hull. Designed by Michael Peters, this revolutionary drag-reducing hull increases speed, enhances fuel economy, and delivers a remarkably soft, dry ride in heavy seas.
