- Overall very well looked after by her experienced owner
The vessel has several excellent upgrades such as additional teak steps and STL grabrails on both sides from foredeck to flybridge, black paint job at both aft quarters of saloon to make it look more sleek, a more powerful air-con than the standard one as well as a genset (Northern Lights) with a bigger output.
Newly installed underwater lights and flybridge enclosure (September 2021).
She reaches an impressive maximum speed of 24 knots powered by the ever reliable twin Yanmar 320HP common rail diesel shaft drive engines. Economical, easy to handle, incredibly spacious, designed for cruising and enjoying the outdoor life with an abundance of outdoor space, including an enormous flybridge.
Apart from the well-equipped drive station in the front starboard corner, the flybridge also boasts a grill, wet bar and direct access to the sunbathing platform that sits above the forward deck. There is a large aft cockpit, with a dining table, lounge and access door into the main saloon. You can also access the forward deck via door from the saloon. The access doors front and rear of the saloon improve interior ventilation as well as making it easier to maneuver around the catamaran.
She boasts a bathroom in each hull and your guests are accommodated in comfort and style in three spacious cabins including an enormous master, plus drop down beds in the saloon. Notwithstanding the top speed of 24 knots, she is essentially a displacement cruiser and will reward her owner with an economical 3 Nmpg at 8.3 knots. Equally suited for short leisure trips / island hopping or long distance ocean cruising.
If you want a highly equipped powercat in "as new" condition at a used cat price, this fantastic Leopard 43 PC is for you.
There were no details left unattended in the creation of the new Leopard 43 Powercat, including the hull design, the updated interior, and much more. Built by Robertson & Caine with exterior design by Simonis Voogd Design, the Leopard 43 Powercat replaces the Leopard 39 Powercat. The Leopard 43 PC is a completely redesigned mid-sized catamaran built with the quality foundation that has come to be expected of Leopard Catamarans.
The stepped hull design adds interior volume above the waterline, allowing for roomier accommodations in the hulls without sacrificing the performance of the yacht. With narrower hulls and less wetted surface below the waterline, the Leopard 43 PC reaches an impressive maximum speed of 24 knots and maintains exceptional fuel efficiency consistent with all Leopard power catamaran models.
The Leopard 43 PC features a large flybridge which includes a grill, wet bar and direct access to the sunbathing platform found forward. Inside, the galley of this powercat is located forward and the forward-facing settee and table are now located aft. This layout, with sliding glass doors between the settee and aft cockpit seating area, plus a large window forward and access door to the bow, allow for nearly 360-degree panoramic views and create a feeling of continuous indoor-outdoor living space.
