From the cockpit, come into the comfy, dry cabin through the lockable tempered glass swing door. On port is a convertible raised dinette that seats four adults with drawer and cabinet storage beneath. At night, this converts into a berth for one or two adults. Across is the helm station. The cushioned Bentley captain’s chair with arm rests will make you feel like a kind while navigating those familiar routes to the hot fishing spots. There is storage beneath the seat as well as below the feet. Behind the captain’s chair is a cabinet with more storage. It makes a great place to set up a coffee pot or microwave. In the bow is a comfortable v-berth with privacy curtains for two adults. A porta potty is concealed in the v-berth beneath the center cushion. When the cabin needs a little ventilation on those warmer days, the two side windows are screened and open to let a lovely breeze circulate this space.
A large non-skid, self-draining fishing and working deck with scupper drains awaits you on Bergy Seltzer. It has much-desired features like a Brutus Plus 40 Max Torque pot puller, two Cannon down riggers, in-deck fish boxes, a built-in transom fish cleaning station and large cockpit storage compartments, including a fish hold with a pump. She has a wide non-skid swim deck between the engines and the transom, which may come in handy for a myriad of purposes. A bright LED deck light illuminates this area when you are out in the day’s darker hours. Tall railing lead you up to the side decks and around her bow, where there is additional standing room for one, maybe two folks. Hand rails along the flat cabin roof are there for gripping to help you traverse to the bow easily, but they also help turn the flat cabin roof into a great storage area for tying down items like a raft, crab pots or kayaks. As the day goes or while wrapping up the evening, you have a wash down system to clean things up quickly and easily.
Bergy Seltzer is very well powered by two Honda 150 horsepower gas engines. With only 424 hours on them, they have been nicely warmed up, but have so many, many years left on them. Her two fuel tanks carry a total of 120 gallons of fuel and she utilizes about 12.5 gallons per hour, making her range a very generous 349 nautical miles between refuels. She has hydraulic steering and trim tabs keep her planning nicely. For anchoring, you have a Delta anchor with 27 feet of galvanized chain and 600 feet of line. She also has new bilge pumps.
Navigation electronics include a Garmin GPS Maps XS GPS and a depth sounder. For communications, you have a UHF 100 radio VHF. She has defog fans at the three windshields, as well as electric wipers. She has two start batteries and one housebank.
