Come inside the cozy cabin on Fair Chase from the aft deck through her sliding weathertight door. Immediately to port, you have seating for up to six adults with a cushioned four-person dinette and an additional forward-facing bench seat forward. Under each bench is a cavern for storage. The dash hosts a garage glovebox for stowing away those small items like keys and cell phones. On starboard is yet another cushioned bench seat for two with a unique tackle box underneath with organizing storage cutouts. The helm has a refurbished adjustable Mariner Air Ride captain’s chair. In the bow is a nice, cushioned v-berth sleeping platform for two adults. The two reading lights are a very convenient feature. Recessed LED lighting and switch-on-fixture lighting are throughout the cabin. The head is accessed from the deck, which helps keep the cabin clean for the day and the ride home. Keeping the cabin toasty warm in the cold months is the Espar heater with Airtronic unit. Sliding side windows offer cooling breeze in the summer.

 

This model has a great fishing deck with diamond plate non-skid decking and no obstacles to trip you up. The gunnels have great storage lockers for keeping loose gear tucked away. Railing along the gunnels make great hand holds and also have numerous pole holders welded to them. A dozen rocket lockers are mounted above the cabin roof. A fillet table is mounted on the transom and two in-deck fish boxes are a quick place to store that abundance of catch brought in by you and your guests. The side decks have non-skid and are wide to allow for easy access to the bow and the cabin has rail along the top and sides for safety. Another great feature of the deck is the outside access to the stand-up head compartment with SeaLand marine head with foot pedal flush, Jabsco RSW intake pump and Jabsco macerator with Y-valve over-the-side option and a five-gallon holding tank. Two Yamaha F225TXR 225 horsepower gas outboard engines with approximately 2,900 hours on each provide a nice punch of power behind Fair Chase. The bones of this vessel have been reinforced and her aluminum fuel tanks have been redesigned to have not only a larger capacity for fuel, 200 gallons total. Internal modifications have increased the hull and tank integrity of the boat and have extended its longevity. She has Yamaha electric cable engine controls and Lenco hydraulic trim tabs to really create a nice ride. Anchoring is easily done with the EZ Puller drum windlass with a 33-pound claw-type anchor on 60 feet of chain and a hefty 600 feet of line. 

 

Fair Chase comes with a well-rounded set of navigation electronics and systems to get you to the fish and back safely and quickly. Navigation and fish finding is easily done with her Furuno NavNet radar/chart plotter/depth sounder and stern-mount transducer. For communications and safety, you have an Icom IC-M22 VHF and an ACR 406 MHz EPIRB. She has a Xantrex Freedom Marine 20 200-watt inverter with remote monitor and two house batteries with rotary style switch. There is also a 12-v cigarette lighter-style power outlet for accessories. Other standard features that you would expect to have on a fishing machine like this one includes electric wipers on the port and starboard windshields.
