When Anila's owners ordered their dream yacht they wanted a boat which could comfortably take them anywhere. She needed to look pretty and as they were travelling with their young daughters, safety was a high
priority.
These prerequisites endured from Anila's conception, throughout her construction until her launch. It is difficult to appreciate how far this attitude has been taken until one steps aboard, the attention to detail is incredible.
Designed by world class naval architect German Frers, the man also responsible for Prada's Americas Cup boats, modern super yachts and successful maxi race boats.

Although this proven blue water cruiser has covered some miles to get to New Zealand Anila still presents exceptionally well.

Anila's well-appointed galley with a huge amount of bench space features: a gas stove and oven, microwave, large fridge and freezer, ice maker and plenty of storage cupboards.
A major feature of the Hylas 54 centre cockpit design is the large owner's stateroom aft of the cockpit, nicely separated from the guest staterooms and saloon. This stateroom is entered through a locking privacy door aft of the galley. It features a queen sized centreline island bed with forward rounded corners. Headroom measures 6' 5".
The private ensuite is accessed to port. It has an electric Vacuflush head, adjoining is a separate shower cubicle.
The saloon is bright and airy thanks to the large cabin windows, the white headliner and the gloss finished teak-inlaid cabin sole.

The U shaped cockpit contains comfortable seating and a solid teak table with drink holder. Impressive custom pedestal / instrument pedestal and switch panel allow for monitoring navigation instruments and on deck equipment and lights.
The aft deck is spacious and securely surrounded by a solid stainless guard rail with swing gate to access the transom. Deep lazarette lockers are located each side.
