"Peregrine" a custom built sail assisted trawler, built in Port Townsend, WA by Big Foot Marine. A sturdy and seaworthy hull designed by Canadian naval architect Jack Beaton of Victoria B.C. The raised pilothouse is forward with good visibility and a well equipped helm. Powered with a fuel efficient John Deere diesel she cruises at 6 knots and has paravane stabilizers. Additional features include diesel heat, watermaker, Fischer Panda generator in a fiberglass sound shield box, engine room with work bench and two staterooms with 2 heads.

The 18' beam makes for a roomy vessel. The engine room is accessed through a workshop with built-in toolbox and vise.
Pilothouse seats seven and offers a pilot berth.
The settee table seats eight and can be lowered and minimized to use as a coffee table.
The fully equipped galley offers a full sized sink, four burner stove w/ oven, trash compactor, dishwasher, bread maker, blender, microwave, dishes, pots and pans. Breakfast bar w/ bar stools.
Large owners cabin with ensuite head is furnished for both extensive stays and live aboard situations.
Guest stateroom with head and shower.
The keel is solid hand laid fiberglass with vinyl ester resin. The hull below the waterline is manufactured from an epoxy matrix shell over a lightweight Core-Cell foam core with the hull above the waterline being epoxy matrix over end-grain balsa core. The longitudinal interior bulkheads are also end-grain balsa/epoxy. All panels are joined by pro-set epoxy.
