There's something special about a classic sailing yacht. It's not just the emotions evoked by images of sunlit, gaff rig canvass over a traditional deck, or the sweeping lines of her hull. It's also maritime tradition, history, and a nod to working mariners of a long gone era.
What if you could have all this... but in a newer package with some updated tech to make working her decks easier?
Grail Dancer was lovingly designed and built in 2000 by Canadian shipwright Wayne Loiselle and patterned after the famed Noank Well Smack, "Emma C. Berry" which is currently displayed at the Mystic Seaport Museum in Connecticut. The builder added special details like the native carvings in the pictures.
True to her heritage, Grail Dancer is a rugged, purpose-built, go-anywhere cruising vessel. She is equipped with a Honda deckhouse water pump which can be switched to emergency pump or firefighting, newer AGM batteries, Panasonic Tuffbox Nav Computer with Nobeltec Time Zero and charts for the world, newer EPIRB, Offshore Elite 6 person life raft, Detroit 150hp diesel rebuilt in Nov. 2020, 2 110w Hard Solar Panels w/Victron MPPT charge controller, 12v fridge/freezer system, Vickers V20 hydraulic pump, 2021 Highfield CL 310 10' RIB, many spare parts, and much more listed in the features.
Here is a chance to own a piece of maritime history in a newer package with some updated rigging and gear to make her truly an easily sailable, one-of-a-kind vessel.
