1998 Trojan 400 Express w/ Twin 7.4L MPI Mercruisers and Generator
For sale by the second owner with just over 600 hours on the engines and 450 on Generator. Boat has always been used in freshwater between The Illinois River system and Lake Michigan. The boat is now in storage but can be seen by appointment.
Built by Carver the Trojan 400 Express is a well laid out boat using all of the 13ft 6 in beam. A set of curved companionway steps leads into a comfortable salon with Cherrywood cabinetry and over 6ft of head room. A bi0fold door separates the forward stateroom from the salon, while a curtain provides privacy in the mid-cabin. In the head the toilet is found under a seat in the standing shower stall to conserve space. Topside you will find a triple wide helm seat and large seating area just aft. The extended swim platform provides comfortable boarding and a great place to sit and relax. Almost all of the aft section of the boat can be lifted hydraulically for engine room access, great for any DIYers. The 7.4L MPIs provide a comfortable cruiser of 18-20 knots with a top end just under 30knots.
