|Modell||48 Cockpit Motor Yacht|
The Tollycraft 48 Cockpit Motoryacht is a extremely well regarded coastal cruiser designed by famous naval architect Ed Monk, Jr. Built in the Pacific Northwest, USA, with production from 1976 to 1996, Stargeezer was one of the last vessels built. She features a two cabin, two head layout with a large and bright salon amidships. There is a generous cockpit with a transom door to a large swim platform, full walkaround side decks with port and starboard deck doors, large boat deck with fast, comfortable 10.5' dinghy and two steering stations. The flybridge has a hardtop with 3/4 canvas and a commanding 360 degree view. Stargeezer had just finished a successful 3 month cruise through the Abacos after a 14 month refit and is ready to cruise with tons of spares, up to date maintenance, redundancy in critical systems and all new bottom. Upgrades abound with new dual station Garmin autopilot (2019), new Garmin Chartplotter and transducer (2022), New Magnum inverter (2021), Wesmar stabilizers upgraded to latest digital version and new batteries (2022). A veteran of 2 Great Loop trips, her shallow draft and nearly 1200 mile range at 8 knots make her an ideal vessel for coastal cruising, extended trips to the Bahamas and exploring further into the Caribbean.
The saloon is entered through mid ship doors port and starboard. To port and aft is a comfortable L-shaped settee with storage and a movable high/low table. It can comfortably seat 4 for dinner. To starboard is an entertainment center with Vizio flat screen TV and new Amazon Firestick, Blue-ray player and soundbar (2022). There are two wooden chairs on casters with leather seats to match the settee. On the port side aft are steps and access hatch to the fly bridge and boat deck. There are custom blinds on the doors and large windows and beautiful burlwood accent countertops. The saloon does have its own separate air conditioning zone for comfort while cruising.
The galley is forward and down three steps from the saloon. To starboard is a large dinette that comfortably seats four. This dinette also converts to a full size berth if needed. Both the dinette and galley areas are flanked with large windows. With the addition of the windshield over head the area is very bright. To port is the working galley. It features:
The Guest Stateroom is forward of the galley and down one step. It features a large double/queen side to berth. It has a large cedar lined hanging locker as well as multiple drawers for storage.
