This is a Mayfly Classic Boats built Oystercatcher 16. She has had a major overhaul over last winter including spars re-varnished, new hatches, new electronics, covers, running rigging & hardware, 2021 mainsail plus all other sails valeted, and much more. Her inventory includes a very good twin axle road trailer with launching trolley. An excellent opportunity to purchase a turn key modern classic that is in gorgeous condition.

Located centrally. 1994 Yanmar 1GM10 marine diesel engine. Recently rebuilt and serviced in 2021 and only some 21 hours logged since. Single cylinder, 10hp, sea water cooled. Shaft drive to three blade propeller. 20 litre stainless steel fuel tank. Approx 4 knots cruising and 6 knots maximum speed under engine.
Single 12V battery charging via engine alternator and solar panel.
Gaff cutter rig. Spruce mast and spars by Mayfly, revarnished 2020 and made in 1994. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. Spinnaker pole. Slab reefing to mainsail with lazyjacks. Headsail furling for foresails.
Built by Mayfly Classic Boats, Cornwall in 1994 for display at the 1995 London Boat Show. Oxford Blue grp hull with traditional long keel. Tiller steering to transom hung rudder. GRP coachroof with teak detailing and cream non skid decks.
The refit included lots of re-varnishing to spars and seats/tiller, etc. plus new hatches, new buff sheets, and much more.
