SCOTT FREE has the popular 3 stateroom arrangement which provides for a large, centerline, island, queen berth in the aft cabin and  a guest cabin with an upper and lower berth forward and to port of the aft cabin. The pilothouse offers tremendous all around  level sightlines(seated or standing)  which is unique among motorsailers (from both stations). There is a large u shaped settee embracing a teak table which seats 6-8. The large L-shaped galley is down 2 steps and opposite a converting dinette.Ahead and stall shower are to starboard of the aft companionway. 

In 2011 the pilothouse windows were covered with a  heat-reflective 3M film-- not mirrored(top product).

Different from her earlier sisterships, SCOTT FREE has no back on the forward seat of the pilothouse,ushaped settee which allows the galley all the natural light afforded by the pilothouse as well as ventilation, sightlines and easy communication with the chef.

Forward is a v-berthed forward cabin w/ a head aft and to port.

The teak is satin -finished throughout the interior; the cabin soles are satin finished teak and holly. There are curtains for all portlights and pilothouse windows . All portlights in the aft cabins are opening except for those looking aft (6 opening)

Additionally for ventilation there are plenty of hatches and dorades; 2 aluminum framed side windows in the pilothouse are opening as well as 2 overhead hatches and, of course, the companionway.

    The galley is L-shaped with beige formica countertops and plenty of lockers. The arrangement between the galley and the pilothouse is different from most 43s
    in that the forward return of the u-shaped settee in the pilothouse has no back rest; this allows for more natural light in the galley and a clear visual and voice path between the two spaces.
