This Westerly Fulmar 32 is the highly desirable Bilge Keel version & in our opinion, probably the best available on the market. Having had the same owner since new, it has been lovingly cared for & upgraded & her hull was pealed & re-epoxied in 2002. It has been modified to accommodate 7 berths, rather than the usual 6, has a valid Gas Safety Certificate & even has Eberspacher cabin heating. Fitted with the Bukh DV20 it has plenty of power against the tide. It also has a Chart Plotter, GPS & VHF as well as a Tiller Pilot. Her decks are clean and tidy with lines led aft to the large cockpit & down below, the cabin is bright, clean & fresh and certainly belies her age. BROKERS COMMENTS

Rarely do we see a boat of this vintage in such lovely condition. The minute you step onboard and head down below, it is clear that this Westerly Fulmar 32 has been very well looked after. On a recent insurance survey ( available to interested parties ) from 2020, the surveyor commented “ it was structurally sound and delightfully original with no significant defects found” Having had one Owner from new in 1985, it has clearly been loved and appreciated as well as being regularly maintained and updated. Additionally, this particular Westerly Fulmar is the Bilge Keel version which makes it more flexible and has the opportunity for cheaper, drying moorings and the ability to get into shallower waters. With 7 good size berths, separate heads & forward facing Nav Station, this boat has a surprising amount of space and accommodation. It also has the 20 HP Bukh engine which gives plenty of power against the tide. Other features include Eberspacher heating, Chart Plotter, GPS & VHF and in 2002 the hull was stripped and re-epoxied.

 

When it was originally conceived, the Westerly Fulmar was a performance cruiser that was unequalled at the time and was used by many skippers in training for the Americas Cup. To this day, she is still a very versatile yacht, that offers a good turn of speed whilst having the space & accommodation for family cruising. This particular Fulmar is in lovely condition and she is ready to go to her next home where she should offer her new owner years of fun and enjoyment on the water.
