Entering the main salon on Chantilly and you enter a warm, richly nautical sanctuary. Lots of teak and fine details really add to the charm of this vessel. Huge windows let the light and scenery just pour right in. Each also opens to create a nice cross breeze on sunny summer days. When you need privacy, the windows all have curtains. On port is an L-shaped settee for at least four adults. At night, this converts into a berth for two. On starboard along the wall is placed with oodles of storage options like cabinets and cubbies. The starboard side helm is forward and has everything within easy reach, plus an excellent view over the bow. The Force 10 diesel heater will keep the entire interior cozy during those cooler months. Forward of the helm and down is the galley, which is nicely set up with a nice-sized Norcold refrigerator, a Sharp microwave inset into the cabinetry above the fridge, a four-burner propane stove with oven, a large double-basin sink, and lots of drawers, cubbies and cabinets for storage. Also in this area is a cabin with two bunks and storage, as well a head with a shower to port, and two single berths on starboard. In all, Chantilly accommodates eight quite comfortably. Aft of the salon and a few steps down is the amazing master state room with a full walk-around double berth. Side tables and reading lamps add to the homey atmosphere. Large portholes let in lots of light when you need that airy feeling. There is so much storage here by way of drawers, cubbies and two hanging lockers, and there is even a settee where another person can berth, if needed. There is a master head with an additional shower located here. Your water needs are generously supplied by four tanks which carry a total of 200 gallons and you have 10 gallons of hot water. Aft staterooms are exceptionally cozy and the stern is much more stable and has less bounce than v-berth staterooms. You will sleep like a baby for sure. 

 

Chantilly has a lovely teak mid-deck that has a hard top and lovely canvas surround. This large area can have a nice table set up and can become quite a nice sun room or breakfast nook. On nicer days, roll up the canvass sections to let in that aromatic spring flower-scented breeze. The enclosed flybridge was recently recovered with new canvas and Isenglas and is accessed by a short staircase from the mid-deck and has a great swivel captain’s chair with arm rests. Behind the captain’s station is a seating area that fits five adults and has a nice triangular cocktail table. The captain can turn the chair around and join the conversation and enjoy a beverage from the table as well. A Co-captain chair is on starboard. There is also a folding bimini bridge canvass. Wide side decks and high railing bring you to the super large bow area. Fish off this space, or it is also big enough to store your traveling kayaks. Last aft on Chantilly is a great petite aft fishing deck with a gate to the swim step and a ladder to the mid-deck. A nice 12-foot dinghy hangs off a davit off the back for easy launching. 

 

The power behind this graceful gal comes from her two 130 horsepower Perkins 6-354 diesel engines with 1,336 hours on it. Two tanks carry 420 gallons of fuel, so you can travel quite the distance between refuels. She has Bennett trim tabs to keep her nose where you want it. Morse controls at both helms. Four-blade bronze propellers. She has a nice 30-pound plow anchor on an electric winch and a generous amount of chain and line when you want to anchor for a spell.

 

 

Included in this nice set-up includes all the electronics you will need at both helms for safe navigation around the Pacific Northwest, two VHFs (a Raymarine and a Kenwood) and two Raytheon GPS/plotter units. She has a Raytheon 24-mile radar and a four-inch Richie compass. While at the dock, plug her into 30-amp shore power. She has three 8D house batteries, two banks, 2 8-D start batteries, a 3000w inverter, and many more features and systems you should check out in person!

 

This well-rounded package comes with an excellent 12-foot FRP dinghy with 18 horsepower Tohatsu outboard engine off the stern davit including the kayaks.
