The Mainship 40 DC was known as a practical vessel with trawler-like styling. The interior dimensions are adequate for two couples to cruise and entertain in relative comfort. The master cabin has a separate stall shower. There are upper and lower helms, port and starboard salon doors and wide side decks. This will make a great liveaboard.
The current owner has had the boat for 10 years. During that time it has always been lift kept. Over the years, a soft top was added to the aft deck as well as a railing around the transom platform.
It is powered by twin Perkins ST6.3544M diesels (200 hp each) with under 2000 hours. She has two air conditioners and three flat screen TVs. Recent work includes new exhaust hoses, new water pump on starboard diesel and new raw water impeller on port diesel.
Please note- There is a Cross Power 8kw generator but it is inoperable. The owner has no plans to repair or replace it.
