Designed by legendary boat designer Art Carlson the 1981 Glastron Scimitar with its “T-top” design and 60+ mph performance took home the international boat of the year award.

Glastron built 500 Scimitar boats between 1980 and 1983. About 300 of those were sold to dealers in seven different countries leaving 200 in the USA. With moderate production numbers, and worldwide distribution, they are becoming almost impossible to find especially in this condition, which can appropriately be called “mint.”

The stem to stern restoration of this boat includes the complete replacement of the transom, stringers, and floor; re-powering with a 2005 Mercruiser 350 MPI 300 HP engine with only 209 hours (confirmed by engine scan) and paired with a 2005 Mercury Bravo I stern drive; custom interior with LED lighting and a 10 speaker JL sound system with two amps; the blue hull was re-gelled, cut and polished, and the topsides are celestial white base clear coat; all bright work has been re-chromed and all teak has been cleaned and lacquered.

All this on a new custom built trailer, with foldable tongue and a new travel cover.
