1980 Westerly Konsort
A family cruiser from the Westerly stable, this Laurent Giles vessel was designed as a capable passage maker with easy handling and comfort in mind. Accommodation for 6 with a forecabin V berth, aft double quarter berth and 2 saloon singles. Galley with gas oven and hob, pressurised hot and cold water. Marine head with holding tank. In same ownership for last 30 years.

Construction
GRP construction with fin keel (1.62M draft), transom hung rudder with tiller steering.
Motor(er)
Powered by a Volvo MDIIC 23HP inboard diesel with shaft driven, 2 bladed propeller. A bank of 3 x 12V batteries provide engine start and service power, these being charged via the engine and a solar panel.
Sails and Rigging
Bermudan sloop rigged yacht with deck stepped alloy mast and spars and stainless wire standing rigging. Spinnaker pole but no Spinnaker.
Fully battened slab reefing mainsail with 3 reefs and a Lazy Jack bag. Roller furling 150% Genoa. Both sails by Hong Kong Sails and said to be in "good condition".
Accommodation and layout
Accommodation for 6 with a forecabin V berth, quarter berth double and 2 single saloon berths. Galley to starboard of companionway steps with gas oven and hob, sink with pressurised hot and cold water. Chart table to port. Saloon with central table with 2 folding leaves. Head compartment to port with slide out basin and hanging locker opposite. Eberspacher diesel heating.
