Volena is a unique, fast, and seaworthy trimaran. She is a proven racer with strong cruising capabilities. She is one of a kind in many positive and interesting ways. Her spacious platform and price per foot are the most attractive qualities for me.

The vessel (Volena) is a wood and fiberglass trimaran built by Mr. Ray Howe of Rochester, New York, in 1979. The three hulls have model bows, square sterns, and cambered decks. Main hull (baka) and the wings (akas) contained the living quarters. The main hull was fitted with a robust auxiliary diesel engine. Volena is fitted with a single, deck-stepped mast, Bermuda rigged.
