Built by CS Yachts, this able and very popular 27-foot model can accommodate a family of five. The CS 27 was built as a strong, ocean-going boat with bulkheads glassed to the hull and an all fiberglass grid system incorporated with the cabin sole to stiffen the hull. Her sturdy construction has stood the test of time.
With standing headroom, a comfortable interior, and a good sailing performance she's an excellent value. The main cabin includes a fold-down teak center table, ample storage areas and 2 settees. Directly aft of the V berth is the enclosed head (with sink) and hanging locker. The galley includes a 2-burner Origo Alcohol stove, cutting board, storage drawers, icebox and sink with pressure water. Her sail inventory includes a main and two furled jibs.
CHIRP boasts a bimini and dodger in quite good condition that had all new plastic windows replaced last year.
CHIRP has been very well-maintained, cared-for and thoroughly loved as a two-owner, freshwater-only boat.
