SANDPIPER is a sweet little Downeast lobster cruiser was built by the renown Bud McIntosh in 1978, and recently rebuilt by current owner Paul Rollins, an equally esteemed boatbuilder. Paul and his wife have SANDPIPER perfectly set up for no-frills coastal cruising and have taken her down the Intercoastal Waterway to the Bahamas and back on at least one occasion.
SANDPIPER features a covered aft deck with fold-away dining table, a simple raised galley and helm station in the pilot house, and a pair of comfortable bunks down below – with a composting head all the way forward.
Her well-maintained Caterpillar diesel has only 1300 hours, and a free-standing NorCold AC/DC refrigerator will keep your drinks cold. What more could one possibly need?
