Time aboard is the only way to appreciate the "Fit and Finish" of this lovely yacht. Words like "brilliant", "exceptional"," complete" &"professional" just don't do it justice.
INCA is a stunning classic Sparkman and Stephens designed aluminum flush deck yacht. Built by Steel Yachts a premier New Zealand builder. Every bit of hardware has a high polish, decks are clean and smooth, toe rail, cleats, and cockpit are varnished to professional quality.
The lifeline gates on port and starboard side make for ease of boarding.
The cockpit is "T" shaped with the helmsman being forward affording perfect visibility from high side and low. Guest and crew sit aft of helmsman. Secondary winches in the cockpit make short handed sails a breeze. When more crew is available the jib can also be cross sheeted forward of the companionway keeping tacking out of the cockpit.
Storage in aft lazerette along with custom MARGAS propane locker.
Furling jib has a secondary UV cover when at berth. Boat also has a full cover that "tents" over the boom and mainsail cover including side curtains.
Large forward hatch to forepeak, deck prisms and vents bring in abundant light and air below.
Brooks and Gatehouse instrument bridge is just forward of the companionway.
Entering below it's impossible to not be instantly impressed with the beautiful camber of the high gloss varnish deck beams. With the contrasting gloss white on the bulkheads and underside of the deck INCA meets all yacht standards.
Salon sole is teak and holly high gloss varnished.
Starboard aft was originally a crew berth and could easily revert back to one, but is now dedicated to storage primarily, with a "dry ice" cruising bin which provides great extra cold storage for cruising. Port aft is the NAV quarter berth.
Amidships is the galley to starboard and navigation station to port. The engine is directly below the companionway ladder with FULL access on all sides.
Galley sports a beautiful PAUL LUKE stove with oven, ADLER BARBOUR refrigeration and deep stainless steel sink. Ample storage and counter space.
Navigation Station is wired to professional quality. Every system labeled, accessible and identifiable.
Double leaf salon table with settee seating and pilot berths above. The pilot berths have individual cubbies and book shelves.
Forward of the salon is the head to port and clothes locker to starboard.
The forepeak is bright and classic. More storage than you'd expect.
Chain locker is accessed from the forepeak.
Bilges are dry and dust free, keel bolts are brilliant and the plumbing sparkles.
