1968 Herreshoff 50'15m

This 50’ Clark Ketch, Endurance, designed by Herreshoff, is clean, well-maintained and ready to sail! She’s powered by a Yanmar 110 HP Turbo Charged Diesel that was installed new in 2008. The Stainless Steel Fuel Tank was also installed new in 2008. For Navigation Equipment she has a Multi-Function Garmin Chart Plotter/GPS/Depth/Speed/Radar, a VHF and large Compass. For Cabin Comfort the vessel has two Wood Burning Stoves, one in the Salon and one in the Galley that can also be cooked on.

The boat has only had two owners and the current owners have owned Endurance for 39 years and taken excellent care of her and she is ready to go sailing!

The decks are wide and easy to maneuver upon fore and aft and the cockpit is large and functional for line tending. A Walker Bay Dinghy and 5hp Tohatsu Outboard are included in the sale.

Accommodations:

Going down below takes you into the Galley that also has a Settee/Single Berth, a Chart Table, and Lots of Storage. The Galley hosts two Refrigerators/Freezers, a Double Stainless Steel Sink with Pressure Hot and Cold Water, a 3-Burner LPG Stove and Oven, Wood Hibachi Oven and Lots of Storage in Cabinets and Cubbies.

Going forward from the Galley takes you into the Salon that has a large Settee to port that opens to a Double Berth, a Pilot’s Berth, a Large Dinette to starboard, Wood Stove and Lots of Storage in Cabinetry and in and around the Settee’s and Dinette.

Going forward from the Salon there is a Head to port that has a Marine Toilet, Storage in Cabinetry, a Mirror and a Shower Head. Across from the Head is a large Hanging Locker with Cubbies.

All the way forward is the Main Cabin/V-Berth area with two Single Berths, Lots of Storage and Access to the Anchor Locker.

The boat is extremely roomy and comfortable and the current owners have taken great care of the boat! They are selling for health reasons. The boat bottom was just dove and cleaned professionally (report available) and the Rig was just professionally cleaned and inspected (report available).
