1966 Lyman 28 Sportsman9m

Just listed!  "Saint" is the likely the best example of the rare Lyman 1966 Sportsman.   She has spent her entire life on the St. Lawrence River and 1000 Islands.  Always in FRESH WATER.  Recently, she was repowered with twin 5.7 liter Crusader V-8's with multiple port fuel injection (MPI).  These great motors are each rated at 325 horsepower.  And they have very low hours at only 778.   "Saint" has been BOAT HOUSE KEPT SINCE NEW IN 1966!   Recently, Saint received major upgrades at St. Lawrence Restoration --the premier wooden boat specialist in the 1000 Islands.  She is in Bristol condition and ready to enjoy.

The Lyman 28 Sportsman hardtop has opening windshields and sliding side windows.  Saint has a dinette to port and a galley to starboard.   The thick cockpit cushions are like new and done in white with blue piping.   There are two Garmin GPS plotters at the helm and two depth sounders plus a VHF radio. 

Saint has had only three owners during her lifetime. And each owner has stored her in boat houses and had her professionally maintained. Her foredeck has been upgraded to teak and the bow pulpit was removed for a cleaner look. 

The new Crusaders start right up, have lots of power and are very dependable.  Saint is set up for cruising, fishing or overnighting.  The open uncluttered cockpit is great for fishing.  And the large seats on the twin engine boxes are comfortable for passengers and guests.
