Safehaven Marine Ltd./ Ireland, builders of commercial offshore patrol and commercial vessels developed this model as a High Speed offshore patrol interceptor and cruiser. The first such yacht was proven by making a Transatlantic run from Canada to Ireland (4500 km) with stops in Greenland and Iceland and an average speed of 34 knots!
“ENMER” is a motor yacht version of this efficient design launched in 2019 with proper accommodations and comfort systems. The ideal large yacht tender or 44 knot commuter!
The Yacht was delivered by Safehaven Marine Ltd. as M/Y ENMER in summer 2019. ‘ENMER’ was commissioned by and built for the legendary and well respect yacht collector Jack Setton. Mr. Setton is very well known in the Superyacht World previously being the original owner of among others the 194ft expedition superyacht ‘SENSES’ and 60ft Daysailer `CIAO GIANNI´. He was intimately involved with her design and specification during her construction and debugging which is now completed. Due to change of owners program this is a unique opportunity to acquire one of the most modern and reliable Motoryachts in ´brand new condition´ with immediate delivery.
The main request for ´ENMER´ was to build a Very Fast but Very Efficient vessel also in the roughest conditions with Maximum Range (approx. 600 nm at 25 kts) which can be operated without crew safely. To enlarge the operation radius with Shallow Draft and optimize handling with Joystick Control a Marine Jet Power 350 Propulsion was installed. To increase comfort under way lots of time and effort was invested to reduce noise and vibration to minimum. Due to the asymmetrical catamaran hull a stabilization system is not necessary even at anchor.
ENMER has an innovative and unique hybrid hull design seamlessly fusing an asymmetrical catamaran with a wave piercing mono hull combining the stability of a catamaran with the rough weather capabilities of a deep V monohull. The design incorporates two fix Hysucraft Hydrofoils allowing her to run very efficiently at any speed. ´ENMER´ is powered by a pair of very reliable and easy to maintain Caterpillar C18 1,150hp engines through ZF 500 gearboxes with propulsion by Marine Jet Power Hybrid 350 waterjets and total output of 2.300 hp.
A full Humphree interceptor trim control system allows precise control of her trim enabling her to operate in both ‘wave piercing’ and conventional high speed mode. During sea trials she achieved a very impressive, considering her 23 m length, maximum speed of 44 kts. Long range fuel tanks provide her with extended offshore voyage capabilities and a ca. 600 nm range.
‘ENMER’ is fitted out to a very high standard with a clean, minimalistic but luxurious interior design incorporating a Master Bedroom and VIP Cabin with en-suite heads plus a separate Crew quarter in the bow section. The main saloon incorporating SHOXS military spec shock mitigation seating for her ‘driving area’ and a full concealed galley and comfortable dinette settee in the living area with retractable table that can transform easily into a bed.
Twin Dometic 27,000 btu air conditioning units powered by her 18 kW AC generator ensure her cabins are kept cool in hot climates. Beside that good natural ventilation is provided through lots of opening windows and hatches.
A very well designed flybridge with access through stairs from the saloon provides a second calm, safe and dry commanding helm position with no wind even at 40 kts+! The flybrdge´s bimini is capable to remain open even at full speed. A third command station joystick is located outside starboard aft for easy docking with no crew needed.
A spacious aft deck also incorporates seating areas for hosting up to 8 people. With the retractable tables this area is converting to loungers and a large sun bed effortless within seconds. Solar panels, a big watermaker and backup diesel generator allow extended periods at mooring or in remote locations. ´ENMER` carries a 320 kg crane launched a 3.5 m RIB on a large dive platform.
After launch and in preparation for her long delivery voyage and anticipating that the ‘Biscay’ leg could offer some challenging conditions she was tested in Safehaven Marine Ltd.’s inimitable style during a pretty nasty storm that hit Ireland just after she was launched, bringing 40kts winds and 6m waves allowing her to be properly ‘sea trialed’ as evidenced by some spectacular accompanying photos and video.
´ENMER´ is in ´brand new just debugged condition´ ready for immediate delivery to her new owner.
Helm position with Steering wheel and navigation instruments. The engine / joystick controls are ergonomically positioned to allow operation without leaning forward and the units positioned on a plinth integrated to the console.
Main Cabin area. The main cabin has a large table made of solid teak with square corners and hinges lengthways so that when folded it reforms a smaller table top. The pedestal has a track to allow the table to slide forwards or backwards to make extra passageway room and an electric height adjustable arrangement to transform into a lounging area.

Further forward is the VIP cabin with double bed and en suite head. The VIP cabin is accessible through Master Cabin or separate deck hatch.
