Lone Ranger is a beautiful example of these Northwest, now iconic cruisers. She has had little use and was in covered moorage for the first years of her life. She's still in pristine condition and ready for her next adventures. Her engine has less than 150 hours!
These boats will surprise you. They handle very well and run out at 13 + kts all day long, burning less than 7 gal/hr. The bow and stern thrusters make them very easy for new boaters to handle and make a great first boat platform. They fit into almost any slip and keep their owners warm and dry even for winter cruising.
Lone Ranger's current owner is selling for health issues and she's ready for creating new adventures for her next family. If you've been thinking about getting into boating or looking for a great condition Ranger Tug, give me a call to come take a look at her.
Lone Ranger is located on Bainbridge Island and listed by our Bainbridge broker Bob Schoonmaker. Please contact me to schedule a showing at 206-818-7394 or email@example.com.

Real cruising is as much about the journey as the destination...and the Ranger R–25SC is all about both. The R–25SC cockpit (aft deck) is 25% larger than our original R–25 giving it nearly 50 Square feet of aft deck space. Designed to provide maximum comfort and versatility in an easy-to-own, easy-to-operate trailerable mini-yacht, the R–25SC offers a full 8-1⁄2-foot beam for roomy on-deck areas and large interior spaces. Private compartments allow sleeping accommodations for up to five. Thereʼs an enclosed head with shower, sink and marine toilet, a helm with full instrumentation and an optional navigation package. The inviting galley includes a sink, stove and refrigerator. Large cabin windows and overhead skylight hatches help brighten the interior and offer a panoramic view all around.
Ranger Tugs has done a marvelous job of building a very versatile little cruiser. She has the option for three berths in a 25 ft boat. The V-berth is the most comfortable and there is a curtain that allows for it to be made somewhat private. The table converts into a berth in the main cabin, it also folds to allow better access through the center aisle.
Then under the table is another berth, perfect for children or a dog. Honestly though, this is a wonderful boat for two or three people.
The galley has a Kenyon electric/alcohol stove and single sink with pressurized hot & cold water. There is a 6 gallon hot water heater and the head has a shower wand. The toilet is manual. Norcold ac/dc refrigerator. There is an engine heat blower and switch for heat underway.
One of the best features of all Ranger Tugs is the ventilation. There are multiple hatches in the overhead and the side windows open for great air flow. The v-berth has an overhead hatch with screen and so does the head.
Lone Ranger has the optional enclosed cockpit. This extends the living space and allows for the side curtains to be removed during nice weather. The cockpit has seating and another table for outdoor living. There is a washdown pump for those that like to fish. There are multiple storage compartments around the cockpit.
The swim-step has a door into the cockpit, bumpers and cleats as well as a stern rail to make boarding safer. There is a light switch near the door for boarding in the dark.
