Designed by Judel/Vrolijk Gmbh and delivered May 2013, this beautifully presented example was spec'd for fast cruising and occasional 'regatta' racing (although she's been used primarily for the former, with very little of the latter), with the torpedo 'competition' keel option by a discerning and experienced owner with an eye for engineered detail.
Finished in a stylish blue from the factory and not fitted with teak decks (plastic or otherwise) except in the cockpit and on the forward end of the coachroof, SKII was 'Coppercoated' before immersion and is fitted with a retractable bow thruster, an electric main halyard winch and the bigger 40 HP engine option.
The Dehler 41 features twin-wheeled steering and a 'German sheeting system' to a sunken cockpit track, to ensure easy, open access between the wheels to the fold-down and generous transom step.
Her sail wardrobe reflects the owner's original intent to race as well as to cruise, with a laminated mainsail, two laminated cruising jibs, a racing 'Code 2' jib, symmetric all-purpose spinnaker and a radial cut 'Code Zero'.

Fitted with the more popular and successful 'A2' & 'C3' accommodation layout; that of Master Cabin forward, with an en-suite heads compartment; twin, mirror-imaged aft cabins in the hull's aft quarters and a mid-ship communal 'day-use' heads to port, with the galley to starboard.
Interior woodwork is of the 'Teak' finish option and upholstery of 'Baltic' blue.
An Eberspacher D4 'Airtronic' programmable hot-air heating system is fitted, with air vents in all cabins. A Fusion digital entertainment system is fitted, together with internal and cockpit speakers.

Forward Cabin: The master berth is triangular, with good floor area for changing and access to the berth, with small seat to port side to assist with dressing. Fixed hull ports to either side provide good light values, with overhead hatch for additional light and ventilation. Hanging locker to port. A Raymarine 70+ Multi display and control is fitted to the forward side of the locker, facing the berth for convenient monitoring of conditions from the berth.
Main Saloon: U-shaped seating to starboard of a double-leafed centreline table, with a straight single berth to port provide for comfortable dining, with good light and ventilation provided by an overhead hatch and a combination of fixed and opening portlights to the coach roof sides. Lighting is all by LED. Closed lockers to hull sides and linear trim encourage an enjoyable sense of stylish calm.
Chart Table: A dedicated, forward facing 'Navigator's seat is provided to be able to sit to the chart table that is located to the port side. This is mounted on a rail to be able to use the same unit as an occasional table between two seated crew when in harbour and 'kicking back' in the main saloon. The main DC distribution panel, together with a central digital monitoring panel is mounted outboard of the Navigator's left shoulder, with another Raymarine 'Multi' monitoring head and Furuno GPS to be able to monitor the vessel's performance from below, together with the colour chart plotter.
Galley: L-shaped and located to starboard of the foot of the companionway, the galley is fitted with twin sinks to the forward peninsular and a large, top and front opening fridge. A Neptune 4500 cooker is fitted with a grill as well as an oven and its aperture provided with a pull-out cover/surface. Deep storage drawers and under-deck, outboard lockers ensure that loose crockery and utensils can be secured.
Day-use Heads: Located immediately to port of the companionway, the main heads compartment is fitted with shower, manually-operated marine flushing toilet (holding tank fitted) and hand basin. Ventilation and good light values via an opening portlight.
Aft Cabins: Each fitted with hanging locker, deep storage shelf and fixed hull port, with additional light and ventilation provided by an opening portlight to the cockpit's foot well. The berths themselves extend beneath the cockpit's well and are a mirror image of each other in terms of size.
Rigged as a 15/16th, double spreader fractional sloop on Selden spars, with a below-deck Furlex reefing system to the for'stay, with carbon fibre spinnaker pole and a removable carbon gennaker pole giving the option for flying a symmetric or Code Zero spinnakers.

Mainsail, Vantage membrane, double taffeta with 3 reefing points with lower 2 reefs slab reefing carried out from cockpit. Third storm reef enabled with strop on mast and leech reef line led back to cockpit as with other reefs. This sail was reported to be in 'good condition' when last inspected and cleaned by One Sails in March 2020.
Two furling jibs by One Sails in Millennium Technora, double taffeta membrane, with UV protection strip and luff flattener: 1 in good condition, 1 in repaired condition.
Racing 'Code 2' jib in Vantage membrane with carbon Technora fibre, single taffeta hoisted only 3 times so in excellent condition.
One Sails' symmetric, all purpose radial Spinnaker 0.9oz nylon, 140.99sq.m. spinnaker hoisted only 3 times since new, so in excellent condition with sail bag.
One Sails' Code Zero radial-cut CZ Technora laminates gennaker with Karver KF2 roller gear in good condition with sail bag.
Fitted with the larger option of a Volvo Penta D2-40 engine with Saildrive transmission to a two-bladed folding propeller.
This example is also fitted with a retractable bow thruster by Sleipner.
Electrical Systems: The main 'Services' battery bank comprises 3 x 135 A/hr batteries, with two additional 135 A/hr batteries dedicated to the bow thruster and anchor windlass. The engine cranking battery is of 50A/hr capacity.
Charging is by engine-driven alternator (80A) and 220-240V AC battery sensing, step battery charger when the vessel is connected to shore support.
A central battery voltage and power consumption digital display is located at the navigation area.
A mains inverter with 200W capacity is fitted.
