Well cared for little tug!
This well maintained and little used Ranger Tug is sweet. She's had two owners, who have meticulously maintained her and it truly shows.
Low engine hours, very clean interior and bilges, ample electronics make this a turn key boat, ready for this fall or next season.
She has had some considered upgrades, such as AGM batteries, Lewmar Profish anchor windlass with both interior and exterior controls and a flat screen TV/DVD player which has had no use.
Currently in our yard in Portsmouth ready for the season . She may be viewed by appointment in tax free Rhode Island.
The owners are very keen for her to be sold and have recently revised the price to make that happen.
2015 Ranger Tugs R-25SC
Real cruising is as much about the journey as the destination...and the Ranger R–25SC is all about both.
The R–25SC cockpit (aft deck) is 25% larger than our original R–25 giving it nearly 50 Square feet of aft deck space.
Designed to provide maximum comfort and versatility in an easy-to-own, easy-to-operate trailerable mini-yacht, the R–25SC offers a full 8-1⁄2-foot beam for roomy on-deck areas and large interior spaces. Private compartments allow sleeping accommodations for up to five.
Thereʼs an enclosed head with shower, sink and marine toilet, a helm with full instrumentation and an optional navigation package. The inviting galley includes a sink, stove and refrigerator.
Large cabin windows and overhead skylight hatches help brighten the interior and offer a panoramic view all around.
The interior layout consists of a V berth forward , with a privacy curtain if needed.
Two steps lead up to the helm station which has very good all round vision from two well upholstered, swiveling helm seats.
Galley is to starboard and consists of a small electric/alcohol stove and stainless steel sink, with a refrigerator freezer beneath.
Aft of the galley is the enclosed marine head with shower cubicle.
On the port side, one finds the convertible dinette, which may seat 4 or else lowered and turned into a bunk or settee. Beneath this area, one finds a large enclosure which even though designed as an additional bunk is ideally suited for storage.
The cabin is finished, with well maintained teak bright work through out, and the cabin sole is teak and holly. Over all the boat interior feels bright and spacious.
The central doorway leads to the aft cockpit, with a non slip deck, which consists of 4 opening deck panels to gain access to battery locker, engine room, inverter/charger/spares storage and a separate bait/fish well.
