Designed with artful style but with bluewater sailing, cruising, and strength of construction at the forefront. De Moor Dauntless is a beautiful Isara 50, a rare breed of strong cruising catamarans, large and luxurious unrivaled accommodation in a stylish design with nimble performance.
With leading-edge design and technology, the Isara 50 offers performance without compromising comfort. She is constructed with exceptionally high-quality finishing and numerous qualities to add to your enjoyment of sailing and living aboard. Some rare attributes include engines midships with easy access, centered weight and low exposure to the elements, a helm aft on the flybridge with great visibility and controls at arm's reach, a full U-shaped chef's galley with teppanyaki grill in the cockpit, largest saloon in its class, a wet locker at the entry saloon, teak decks and teak floors, closets to fit long dresses in each cabin along with a settee aft or writing desk forward, very large heads with separate showers, electric flush toilets and big vanities with storage. This yacht can fit into any plan whether family, charter or extended cruising.
Stepping onboard, immediately the quality of the build will strike you, and not only that, you will have to remind yourself, that you are on a 50ft catamaran and not a much larger vessel. The high-quality stainless steel on board was like a seamless piece of art! From the boat's large flybridge you can see all four corners of the boat for ease of berthing in any marina and easy access to controls and lines. The boat can be helmed from the flybridge or from the secondary helm station in the saloon with clear all-round visibility easily handled by a husband and wife long-distance cruising.
The bridge deck accommodation is naturally the most striking aspect of this boat – it’s around one third larger than that of other catamarans of a similar length. A large and superbly equipped galley, a dining area that will comfortably seat the entire crew and spacious lounging areas, all with a great view of the outside world. This is on the same level as the covered cockpit, making the transition from ‘below’ decks to ‘above’ decks almost seamless.
Elegant is the only word to describe the interior. de Moor Dauntless has LED lighting and teak flooring throughout. The saloon, the largest of any 50' sailing catamaran, provides a huge living space with a 360-degree panoramic view. The sofa seats six and there are two comfortable occasional chairs. For your entertainment, de Moor Dauntless has a Fusion music system with four separate zones which are controlled by a downloaded app for your smartphone. A 32” TV and DVD in the saloon media server contains a movie library accessible by the TV in each guest cabin. The galley is fantastic with everything needed to make meal preparation a pleasure – a large stainless steel refrigerator & freezer, double sink, four-burner electric stove, convection oven, dishwasher, curved bar, and serving area.
All cabins are luxuriously appointed with an abundance of natural light, full-length hanging locker, plenty of storage space and individual air conditioning controls. Relax in your cabin, access the media server and enjoy a movie on your 24” flat-screen TV. Each cabin has a large ensuite bathroom with vanity, a separate shower, and an electric quiet flush toilet.
The secret behind Isara Yachts spacious interior is the unique Carbon Arch that allows the mast load to be spread evenly from the mast step through the coach roof which allows saloon to be pushed 6 ft further forward giving amazing extra living space in the saloon providing this incredible extra space, in comparison to much larger catamarans.

As you’d expect of a boat of this nature there’s acres of lounging space on deck, as well as a number of separate areas for socializing. This includes the main aft cockpit, from where twin curved staircases lead to the crew cockpit on the flybridge – it’s from here that the yacht and sails are controlled.
De Moor Dauntless’ many features include two helm stations, full Raymarine electronics including chart plotter/GPS, wind instruments and radar, fully battened mainsail, furling genoa, electric winches, water maker, folding props, inverter, and deck washdown pump. The spacious flybridge is accessed by twin curved staircases and offers comfortable cushioned seating for six. A lounge area forward of the flybridge is the perfect place for those wishing to enjoy the sun or relax in one of the teak seats at the bow and enjoy the breeze. The cockpit is equipped with an electric Teppanyaki style grill, refrigerator, and icemaker. The large covered cockpit is the ideal place for relaxing, entertaining or enjoying a meal with friends and family. For easy access to the sea and dinghy, the wide swim platform has a boarding ladder at each hull. Divers will appreciate the specially designed tank locker as well as the dive ladder.
Tinted Glass Saloon Windows Not only look sexy they stay looking sexy! The Tinted Glass will keep your boat cool and looking good for its whole lifetime. Glass is less prone to scratching compared to Perspex or polycarbonate most commonly used.
Built using only the best materials gives peace of mind. Vinylester Resin Construction is more expensive to use than Polyester Resin in boat building which most of the production builders use, but it reduces the incidence of osmosis, keeps a shine better and is stronger.
A Wet Locker what could be more useful than a wet locker to store gear rather than dripping all over the inside of your boat. It is great for storing safety equipment and life jackets close to hand.
The Bathing Platform being on the same level as the cockpit and the saloon when the tender is launched it gives you even more space in the cockpit, uncluttered, making a real party boat. It also makes a great diving platform with gear close at hand. When cruising, an ideal place to securely strap your tender and outboard to the deck without it swinging about in space hanging from the davits and having to dismount your heavy outboard and screw it to a separate bracket.
