'Golden Rule' is a well cared for boathouse kept fast trawler with the equipment and comforts for extended cruising. She has space and accommodations for a large family or a couple that cruises with friends.
Moving aboard this elegant yacht from the swim platform you step into the large open cockpit. From here walk around decks on both sides offer easy and safe access to the bow and pilothouse side doors.
Entering the full height sliding glass door into the salon, there is a small desk to port and the TV to starboard. The comfortable salon feels like a home and has a large built in L shaped couch, two bucket chairs and a movable hi-lo table. Big windows with wooden blinds add to the open feel and teak & holly floors in the salon, galley and pilothouse combined with the ample use of teak throughout highlight the superior level of finishing.
Moving forward in the open layout the galley separates the salon and pilothouse. The large u-shaped modern galley features Corian countertops, abundant storage and offers everything the chef needs. Here a hatch in the floor provides access to the large pantry area with plenty of storage space, an additional Dometic freezer and the washer and dryer.
Moving up 3 steps to the pilothouse there is an elevated L shaped seating area with table for the crew as well as a helm chair for the captain. Three large forward facing windows offer good visibility and doors to both port and starboard provide easy access to the deck.
Rear facing steps from the pilothouse provide easy access to the fully enclosed flybridge. This area offers seating and entertaining space and access to the boat deck for dinghy launching.
Stepping down the curving staircase forward of the pilothouse brings you to the accommodation area. Moving right and forward the 3rd stateroom with twin bunks is to port and the guest head with separate shower is to starboard. The VIP guest stateroom with a queen berth is located in the bow.
Moving left and rear brings you to the full beam master stateroom. This area takes full advantage of the large space with a seating area to starboard, a desk to port and the fully walk around queen berth. There is plenty of storage and the in-hull windows on both sides allow in natural light as well as offering a view. The comfortable master head has a separate shower stall. The carpet in the accommodation areas is brand new (December 2018).
The roomy and well lit engine room can be accessed through the pantry from the galley or from the lazarette hatch in the cockpit.

Review and performance information:
Navigator Yachts hull shape was designed with one thing in mind: make the best use of a minimum amount of fuel and horsepower, and retain the maximum amount of boat speed and efficiency. In doing so, Navigator created a wide hull shape that is stable at rest and at displacement speed, while achieving 30% less wetted running surface when on a plane. The result is a hull with much less drag, a significantly smoother ride, and far better fuel economy.
