For those buyers not ready or interested in long range cruising, some have found the Krogen 39 to simply be their perfect waterfront condo and classic weekend cruiser to local destinations.
While not cruising, ZINGARA's home has been in the fresher brackish waters of the northern Chesapeake Bay, properly winterized and protected off-season. Her current owners long-range cruising plans have recently changed, thus she is available to you with special incentive to buy before Fall 2020.

The fully covered aft deck, or 'back porch' as Krogen owners like to call it, is a favorite gathering place. Whether relaxing with a book, dining al-fresco, sipping a cocktail, fishing for Wahoo, or bird-watching, it is sure to become your favorite place as well.
Flybridge & Top Boat Deck:
Access to the Flybridge is through a ladder on the port side of the cockpit deck.
Entering the saloon from the fully-covered cockpit, you are immediately aware of the broad beam and abundant head room. There is plenty of light and fresh air from the large, opening windows. To Starboard is an L-shaped settee and a teak hi-low table. To Port is another settee which converts to a double berth for the occasional visitors.
The full U-shaped Galley is just forward of the Saloon to starboard on the main level.
There is a bookcase with desk to port that currently houses a portable refrigerator/freezer underneath.
Natural light and ventilation are provided via two 12" round opening port lights, one over the stove, the other in the bookcase.
The Krogen 39' has a single luxurious Master Stateroom. Rather than provide several small cabins for sleeping, the owners are rewarded with a large Island Queen Stateroom forward with plenty of light, ventilation and storage. New custom mattress added in 2020.
The opening port lights w/ screens and large overhead hatch provide excellent flow for comfortable nights on the hook.
The adjoining head with separate shower stall is just a few steps away.
Additional sleeping quarters are available by easily converting the port side settee in the Saloon and the settee in the Pilothouse to double berths.
Additional Head Features:
The comfort and functionality of a Kadey-Krogen raised pilothouse is legendary. Just a few steps up from the Saloon/Galley, the Pilothouse area features a centerline helm station, convertible settee/watch berth and plenty of natural ventilation and light!
Outside access is provided through two Aluminum Dutch-style weather doors, port and starboard. These doors are one of the best features of a Krogen raised pilothouse, permitting fresh air to come in when tops are open, while keeping you safe with the bottoms shut. The high bow of Kadey-Krogen also keeps your ride dry while underway.
Visibility is excellent through the 5-window windshield, two additional windows aft of the Pilothouse doors and a large opening port light on the aft bulkhead.
The two overhead, screened hatches provide additional light and ventilation.
Aft of the helm is the settee, which pulls out to convert to a double watch berth, or provides additional sleeping quarters for occasional guests.
There is a teak hi-low table in front of the settee, perfect for cruising, beverages, a laptop video meeting from your remote office, or homemade sunset dinners on the hook.
ZINGARA has a walk-in and stand up-engine room with a work bench to Starboard - something you only expect to find on much larger vessels. Machinery is expertly laid out and everything is readily accessible. Factory labeling, plus meticulous owner labeling on all machinery and through hulls throughout the engine room make it a highly functional and easy-to-learn space. Organized and labeled spare parts save you time and money as you prep for cruising.
Personal gear, cockpit furniture, decor items, artwork and tools are excluded.
