The boat has done very well in Barbados, in 2015 we picked up 2nd in the Coastal series and first in class round Barbados and in 2017 we picked up 2nd in the coastal series and 1st in class Round Barbados. In addition we came 5th in class and 15th overall in the 2016 ARC. Otherwise we have not performed terrifically well and have largely finished mid fleet in most of the RORC races in which we have participated.
IRC Certificate - There are various certificates for different sail plans. The boat has capability for both asymmetric (with a 1m prodder) and Symmetric (approx. 5m pole) kites and can be set up depending on the conditions of the race. In this year's RORC campaign / Fastnet we have a rating of 1.114 using our race main and asymmetric kites.
All standing and running rigging (with the exception of the mast, spreaders and boom) was replaced in 2014. Some of the running rigging has been replaced once again since. The management company employed a rigger plus a bosun and the rig has been subject to regular visual inspection with no signs of any issues.
