Great Blue Yachts LLC
Stepping aboard the Mainship 400 one of the first things you notice is how easy it is to travel about her decks, go to and from the fly bridge and enter the salon. She has been designed with the simple thought that people would be using her not only sitting at the dock but underway - going fore and aft for dock lines or to set the hook, taking lunch and drinks up to the fly bridge for a hungry crew, casting for Rock Fish out the back or simply lounging on the upper aft deck. High coamings, full stainless bow and upper deck railings, molded fly bridge steps, transom door and port and starboard flip up boarding steps all combine to make moving about the boat safe and easy.
A large cockpit features high coamings and port and starboard flip up steps for side boarding. The off center transom door offers easy access to the large swim platform. A large, double lid transom box provides storage for dock lines, pfd's and fishing gear. Wide side decks with high coamings offer easy access fore and aft for docking and anchoring. The fly bridge overhand and the aft deck offer excellent coverage for the side decks and aft cockpit.
The bow is well designed with a centered recessed electric windlass, rode locker, two fender / line storage lockers, double bow roller and Sampson post. The raised coach roof offers additional seating when entertaining and room for sunning when relaxing.
Molded steps lead up from the cockpit to the fly bridge and upper deck. NO LADDER TO CLIMB!
Large full length double doors lead in the salon and main cabin.
The main salon is open and airy and well designed to offer an easy flow through the cabin. The full cruising galley is on starboard. A large, comfortable sofa with built-in storage is on port. Just forward on port is the dinette with an aft facing bench settee, large rectangular pedestal table and two tall stools. To starboard is the lower helm station and captain door. A sliding captain door offers easy quick access to the starboard side deck for easy passage fore and aft while docking.
The salon is complete with a full entertainment center featuring a swing out flat panel TV, Bose 3-2-1 Surround Sound System and DVD player and Bose Speakers.
The full cruising galley is set off to the starboard side and beautifully blends in with the salon. Rich, cherry cabinets, corian counter tops and stainless steel offer very nice accents to the ergonomic design. Extra attention has been paid to the amount of dish and provision storage allowing for additional guests and longer cruises between re-provisioning. The Force 10 three burner stove with oven, full length refrigerator with bottom freezer, microwave and deep dual stainless steel sinks will satisfy the cruising gourmet quite nicely.
The fly bridge and upper deck are amazing and offer a complete new aspect to the boat.
The upper deck is spacious and has a stainless steel railing around the entire deck. It features a complete BBQ station with built in Jen-Air electric grill, sink, ice maker and storage cabinets and a pedestal table. Plenty of room for entertaining or relaxing on lounge chairs.
