Elan 37 - Built 2004
'Troikka' is a well-known and well set-up Elan 37. Formerly a 'Quokka', she was raced very competitively under IRC, before moving to Scotland where she has been raced locally and used for cruising. Laid out as a three-cabin yacht, she has a large salon, generous galley, and a forward-facing chart table.
The Elan's high stability and refined appendages make her really sparkle upwind, while her clean lines and generous hull form make her similarly slippery downwind. The boat is capable of handling very different wind conditions with ease and without needing constant adjustments to the sails to keep the boat on her feet, which is equally important to the cruising family as it is to the race crew.
