The spacious salon, dinette and galley areas are entered from the cockpit through glass aluminum framed, swing-out, double doors with separate screen doors. The wood paneling used throughout the entire interior is a lighter color with a satin varnish.
Immediately to starboard is the large, L-shaped galley with a full-size Nova Kool AC/DC refrigerator/freezer, microwave, 3-burner range and oven, double stainless steel sinks and a built-in coffee maker. There is an abundance of drawer and cabinet storage with a dedicated dish storage locker as well as an under-counter trash receptacle. Forward of the galley is the lower helm station and starboard side sliding entry door.
On the port side aft is a sleeper sofa upholstered in beige leatherette followed by a dinette.
Down three steps centerline to port, is the guest stateroom, head to starboard and master stateroom forward. The steps lift-up for access to equipment and storage area.
The guest stateroom has two single berths with a filler cushion that can be inserted between the berths to convert them to a large double berth. There is good storage in drawers and lockers.
The forward master stateroom has a centerline queen berth, drawer storage beneath and two hanging lockers.
The large head, with a separate stall shower and electric flush toilet, is conveniently accessible from both the master stateroom and the companionway directly across from the guest stateroom.
The spacious flybridge is accessed via safe, molded fiberglass steps in the cockpit. The aft end of the bridge area is open and features a built-in grill, sink, ice maker and additional storage. In addition, there is a 24" round table on the boat deck that is perfect for alfresco dining or a late afternoon cocktail.
Moving forward, the bridge is fully enclosed for protection during inclement weather and features seating for a crowd. There is an L-shaped settee to port and straight settee to starboard with a folding table between. At the forward end of the area, the helm is on centerline with a pedestal seat and additional forward-facing seats on either side.
A great feature of the cockpit is that it is protected from sun and rain by a fiberglass top, giving the cockpit the feeling of a back porch. Full walk-around, covered side decks with bulwarks and stainless steel rails offer safety and a sense of security when moving around underway.
Going forward, an electric windlass and dual roller bow pulpit make setting and retrieving the anchor a breeze. Mainship's no-wood exterior makes it easy to keep this boat looking new without the expense of maintaining brightwork found on other types of trawlers.
Other nice features include a transom storage locker with washdown, a transom door for easy access to the swim platform, molded-in stairs to the bridge and a large lazarette access hatch.
The engine room access is via hinged hatches in the salon sole. The engine room layout has the aluminum fuel tanks outboard of the engines. There is generous space around the engine for ease of maintenance.
