The J100 is a fast, fun and stable boat. With its light displacement, bulb keel, and generous sail plan you will find yourself passing other boats while sailing in total comfort. The J100 can win races, be day sailed, or be used for light cruising with its full marine head, sink, and bunks. She is easily sailed shorthanded. She has an extremely large, self-draining cockpit that can comfortably accommodate 6 adults. The molded fiberglass seats have backrests that are swept back for added comfort. This J100 has been meticulously maintained by an avid sailor. It has been set up for ease of day sailing with a custom stack pack (that can be rolled and affixed to the boom for racing) and a sunbrella treated headsail that can remain on the roller furler and be quickly deployed. As such you are going to spend more time on the water and less on the dock. Simply unzip the stack pack, attach the halyard, start the Volvo Penta engine and cast off your lines. The mainsail glides up and down the mast on Harken slides. No clumsy sail covers, snaps or clips to deal with. Newer Ullman sails (2016), new Lifeline batteries (2020), high tech upgraded low stretch running rigging, Carbon fiber mast, B & G mast instruments, carbon spinnaker pole, hydraulic backstay, folding prop, self-releasing custom traveler system, and a Raymarine ST2000+ automatic tiller.
There are very few J100’s available for sale on the West Coast. Don’t miss this very special boat at a great price.
