“Laziza” under went a major re-fit during 2011/12. These works included a hull repaint from the original blue to the new colour of “Moon Dust”. This aesthetically modernised her exterior appearance. Other works included re-wiring of the ship and new 28kva gen sets, an upgrade from the factory fitted 17.5kva units.
The owner also decided to uplift the interior décor and made modifications to the saloon that effectively allowed more floor space. All the furnishings and fabrics were changed at that time. This theme was carried through to the forward dining area and cabins alike. The air conditioning system was also replaced throughout the vessel with a higher BTU specification.
On the theme of freeing up space, the decision was made to remove the crane from the flybridge. A new 800kg Nautical Structure crane was fitted on the foredeck. This not only made great improvements to the flybridge area, but also made launch and recovery of the new tender easier and safer, with the ability to deploy the tender to either side of the ship.
The list of further improvements goes on, the general idea of the re-fit being to make the ship both safer and more user friendly for both guests and crew. No expense was spared during this period.
This ship presents a unique opportunity to acquire a pedigree vessel with a Super yacht feel, that effectively comes under the 24m category..
