Originally owned by Architect Vittorio Garroni, the official designer of this Jeanneau 54DS, who meticulously followed its construction and furnished it with every possible option.
In June 2007 she was purchased by the current owners in Sardinia, they sailed extensively in the Mediterranean, ranging from Turkey to Gibraltar, including an Atlantic crossing to the Caribbean with ARC and returning independently.
The Jeanneau SO 54DS is a magnificent and most comfortable and safe boat to sail in any weather condition. She is an eye-catcher, with her elegant Italian lines, often complemented by passers-by, queen of many anchorages.
As the European VAT was fully paid in France the vessel may again be registered in a European country, should the new owner wish to do so.
Air conditioning, spray-hood, bimini, lateral sun-shades, lazy bag, gangway, cockpit folding table, full range of cockpit cushions, including helm seat, bed linen, curtains, mosquito nets, lee cloths, new electric bicycle. Some extra cupboard space has been created with original Jeanneau wood panels, of which there are more available in Sardinia.
The boat is supplied “hop on and go” and with only a limited further preparation would be ready for a new ocean crossing. It has always been constantly and lovingly maintained and only recently, three new electrical toilets, batteries, battery charger, hull “wrapped” with Oracal grey 970, cockpit cushion covers, spray-hood, lazy-bag etc.
Current owners have not used some of the abundant electrical appliances, the desalinisation plant, washing machine, dish-washer and microwave oven will require servicing by the new owner.
