JACKRABBIT is a tried and true, Little Harbor 38 WhisperJet with moderate deep V entry, tremendous downeast looks, venerable heritage, and has just recently, in August, had Jet Service and varnish. She is in cruise away condition.
She has a unique layout, one of the only WhisperJets with a private stateroom. She has a 5 kW Northern Lights generator and has a Trace inverter. Her batteries were new in August 2020. Recently she had an important upgrade to her deck hinge arrangement, please call for an explanation and photos
Powered by six cylinder Yanmar 370 hp diesel engines and Hamilton water jets, she offers fast, comfortable cruising in luxury and superb style. Additionally, she is nimble and quick, and can access shallow areas other boats may not wander with her 2'6" draft.
She is fully equipped with Northern Lights generator, large air conditioning system for both below and helm deck air conditioning and is one of the few Little Harbors to have these features. She has lots of usable gear one would need for great memories of family vacation.
DO NOT MISS this great yacht. She will not last long in this market with few WhisperJets currently available. She has many more features than most.

The electrical system of the Little Harbor 38 was engineered in accordance with ABYC standards and incorporates a 12 V DC ships electrical system powered by the batteries. Additionally, the shore power system is 110/125 V AC at 60 hz, and comes from three sources: 1. the shore power system; 2. the 5 kW Northern Lights generator; 3. the Trace 2500 Watt inverter.
At the heart of the electrical system is the BASS brand Breaker panel. The panel consists of circuit breakers, and is mounted starboard in the companionway. There are volt meters and ammeters for the DC and AC systems managed thru the Trace Inverter controller. Additionally, the following equipment was included as part of the original build out and comprises first class build standards often missed in many other yachts of this size.

NOTE IMPORTANT UPDATE: In July 2020, Jackrabbit had an important and essential upgrade to her hinged deck structure. All WJ's, at some point, will need this update. The helm deck was removed and the hinge point was massively restructured with FRP L brackets both on the aft portion of the deck where the helm deck part meets and on the helm deck hinge area itself. This is fairly important surgery and should be performed by the techs at Hinckley, Little Harbor. This makes Jackrabbit far more valuable as this renewed structure puts her in a small class of sisterships.
