Launched in 2001, the yacht underwent a refit in 2018 that, along with many upgrades, saw her hull completely repainted and the teak deck partly renewed.
This 26m vessel has an impressive range of some 1,385nm and her shallow draft of just 2.10 permits her easy access to both the most popular marinas and the more shallow and secluded anchorages.
Her interior fit out features neutral tones with warm wood panelling and the arrangement is spread across two decks; the accommodation is below and the main saloon and galley are on the main deck, with easy access to the yacht’s aft seating area and top deck, which is ideal for lounging in the sunshine.
A Novurania tender is also stored on the top deck and handled by a crane.
Up to nine guests can be accommodated between four comfortable en-suite cabins, with the arrangement comprising of an owner’s double (with walk-in closet and his-and-hers sinks), guest VIP with twin beds, and two further guest twin cabins – one of which has a Pullman berth. The generous crew accommodation is then positioned forward, in the yacht’s bow.
The versatility of Virgen del Mar’s accommodation layout lends itself well to either a family or friends who wish to share.
