The Hatteras 74 Cockpit Motor Yacht boasts a very generous salon that is open to the galley, dinette and both socially and visually connected to the "Al Fresco" aft deck seating area with a large bank of windows aft. Unlike most earlier galley up layouts the 74 CPMY offers a galley up with a covered outside dining area.
The below deck layout offers four staterooms and five heads, including a full-beam master suite with separate "His and Hers" head accommodations and a private stairwell. There are two forward guest VIP suites and an over/under fourth stateroom forward. The forward staterooms are separated from the master by a full beam engine room with a private stairwell from the Pilothouse.
The pilothouse is fully separated from the living area and features port and starboard doors to the side decks and a gentle staircase leading to an expansive flybridge with custom wet bar and stools and voluminous guest seating.

In 2016 both main engines had a major servicing to include new exhaust risers, turbo chargers replaced, injectors removed, engines bore scoped, injectors replaced, hydraulic pump rebuilt.
Owner cruises the yacht mostly at 880 RPM: Makes 8.5-10 Knots at 14 Gallons per Hour (total for both engines and 1 generator).
Cruising on plane at 1880 RPM: 18 to 20 Knots at 75 GPH (total with one generator).
