**Last Resort (ex: Sea Prompt) is NOT a Katrina boat...She was purchased in 2006 from original owner who sailed her on Lake Erie..Lake Erie sailing club sticker still on cabin side....She is also NOT the C470 Last Resort that hailed from California and cruised to Mexico....She is an extremely well maintained and lightly used two owner example with low engine and generator hours. Owner just spent over $6,000 on complete engine and gen service, new gen water pump, compound/wax, new bottom paint, seacocks removed and replaced, a/c water system replumbed, bilge recoated with white gelcoat, new hailing port lettering, chainplates removed and rebedded as necessary, among other miscellaneous items....she is ready to go today...
Reluctantly after owning it for more than ten years, the current owner (2nd owners) have decided to sell. It has been primarily used for daysailing on Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans, LA. It has always been maintained and updated, and it's initial configuration included the bowthruster option, Fischer Panda gensent, three separate A/C units and autohelm 6000 autopilot. They added a custom S/S Wells radar arch as well as two 210 watt solar panels.
Prior to leaving on a cruise in 2012, they invested over $40,000 in upgrades and replacements: a new North 155 genoa, Maxwell VWC 1500 windlass, Garhauer mainsail traveller with outboard control lines, lifelines replaced, new mainsail stackpack with sailcover, bimini and new isenglass in dodger. New interior upgrades include: new ultraleather upholstery, teak and holly sole, custom granite countertops with stainless lids and doublemount stainless sink, all water and sump pumps, new engine motorounts, cutlass bearing and stuffing box.
Also added was a third 55 gallon stainless fuel tank dedicated to the generator, beneath a new starboard full length settee that replaced the captain chairs. Also, a new refrigeration compressor, Raymarine c125 chartplotter. It has a Panda 8kw genset with low hours (less than 1k), bowthruster, st6000 autopilot.

The beautifully appointed standard Two-Stateroom interior is air conditioned throughout and has a Guest stateroom forward which features a large Pullman berth with coil spring mattress, hanging lockers, shelves, and a large top access locker under the berth. There is also a private head with separate shower. The Main salon has large "U" shaped dinette and gloss finished dining table to port. There is a full length settee to starboard, built by Catalina, that replaced the two Captain's chairs and game/coffee table on the starboard side. Underneath is a third 55 gal diesel tank that supplies the generator. The Galley is located aft to port with navigation station opposite to starboard. Further aft is the large Owner's stateroom which has an island berth, with coil spring mattress, with hanging lockers on both sides, drawers and nicely appointed storage containers. There is access from both the owner's stateroom and main salon.Ventilation is excellent with eight opening hatches and ten opening ports. New variable speed fans circulate air throughout the boat.
Full feature galley with microwave, propane stove & oven that even has the luxury of an exhaust fan hood that is vented to the exterior. The dual entry refrigeration is divided into freezer and refrigerator compartments and can be accessed from the top or the front. The countops have been upgraded to granite with a full double undermount stainless sink and designer faucets.
