Anytime was bought by her current owners to cruise the islands. She was on fresh water all of her life until the current owners bought her and shipped her to Florida to undertake a refit. This is not your ordinary decades old Catalina 30. She was extensively refit by her current owners including new sails and rigging and much more. The Catalina 30 MK II is known for its spacious interior due to its wide beam that carries aft. This is a very comfortable family cruiser which will sleep seven in a private forward V-berth, aft double berth under the cockpit, a dinette that converts to a double berth and a single settee/berth to starboard in the salon.
A convertible L-shaped settee/dinette is forward to port in the salon that was converted to a king size berth with storage under and a straight settee is across to starboard. The dinette table stows securely on the forward bulkhead when not in use.
Storage is found behind and beneath the settees. Above and outboard of the each settee are two cabinets and fiddled shelves. A 110 volt outlet is found outboard of the port settee. 12 volt fluorescent lights are outboard of both settees. The engine is located beneath the aft portion of the dinette. A sit-down nav station is located all the way aft to starboard, across from the fully equipped, U-shaped galley.
The interior is brightened by the white colored fiberglass pan, sole, white countertops and seven fixed ports. Teak has been used effectively throughout for furnishings and trim. The sides of the salon are lined in ash planking which effectively insulates sound eliminates condensation concerns. Interior carpet and upholstery was NEW in 2007.
The master cabin is in the forepeak and has a very large V-berth with a filler cushion. There are fiddled shelves port and starboard that run the length of the cabin. Its main storage area is the chest-of-drawers in the passageway; however, there is additional storage beneath the berth. Natural light and ventilation is provided overhead by an opening hatch.
Aft of the salon, the oversized quarter berth extends beneath the cockpit area, sleeping two comfortably. Some storage is found below the berth.
The third sleeping area is created by lowering the full size table in the salon to convert the dinette to a king size berth. The starboard settee can also be used as a single berth.
The roomy head is located just aft of the forward V-berth cabin on the port side. It is easily accessible to both the master cabin and the main salon. The head comes complete with a vanity, sink and hand-held shower. There is storage below the sink and in a sliding medicine locker above the sink. An overhead hatch and opening port provide excellent ventilation.
The galley is nicely equipped for weekend cruising or parties on deck with friends and family.
Electrical distribution panel for the 12V/110V power systems is located above the Nav station. 110 V outlets throughout the boat and the ones in the salon, galley, head & forward stateroom are GFI.
All lines lead aft to the cockpit.
