S/V Stormalong is a Frank Butler designed Catalina 34. C34s were built from 1985 to 1999 with a few tweaks over the years. Considered coastal cruisers, they’re built to enjoy the bays, perfect for island hopping yet ready to weather a big storm. While they’re not equipped to survive for months stranded at sea, the roomy accommodations below deck make the C34 a comfortable weekender or even live-aboard. The motor does need to replaced on the boat.

The boat does have a recent survey. All the instruments on the boat do work.
She was pulled out in October, the bottom was repainted and the zinc's we're replaced. The hull was completely sound and the prop looked good.
The motor has not been pulled. It's a Universal/Westerbeke 25XP diesel. The current owner said when they were looking to replace it that they found several new and used motors (Westerbeke and Yanmar) that would fit in the engine compartment from $1,000 (salvaged) to $6,000. An electric engine is also an option depending on your cruising plan.
Both sails are only a few years old and in great condition. The standing rigging and traveler have also been replaced & upgraded, along with a brand new CDI furler last fall.
