Custom designed eight berths in three cabins with excellent headroom throughout. Up forward is a twin bunk cabin with storage underneath. Deck opening hatch. In the saloon on the port side is a C shaped settee and large table that turns into a double berth. Storage behind and underneath. Single settee seat opposite to starboard with linear galley. Twin stainless steel sinks, refrigerator. Neptune 4500 twin gas hob, oven and grill. Pressurised hot and cold water with 190 litre capacity. Heated through a calorifier. Aft of the galley is the separate heads compartment with marine toilet, basin and shower. Opposite the heads to port is the inside helming position and chart table. As you walk through to the after cabin there is another heads with a marine toilet. Single berth on the port side and then large double berth astern with storage underneath. Deck opening hatch.
Located under cockpit in soundproofed and vented compartment. 2003 Ford XLD 418 Marine Diesel. 4 cylinder, 48hp, fresh water cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft drive to fixed propellor. Last serviced May 2018 with service history. Morse type engine controls in cockpit and below. 70 gallons fuel capacity in stainless steel tank (500nm range approximately). Full engine controls. Cutless bearing changed 2017.
Vetus 60kgf Bow Thruster.
Two 12v domestic batteries. One 12v engine start battery. One 12v bow thruster and anchor windlass battery. Battery Management system and charger. 240v Ring mains. Immersion heater. Batteries charged via battery charger, water generator and alternator.
Masthead bermudan sloop rig. 2002 alloy Kemp deck stepped mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging (2017). Manual backstay adjuster. Terylene running rigging. Slab reefed mainsail with stackpack and lazyjacks. Furlex 204 (2017) headsail furling system. Two Barlow 42 self tailing sheet winches. Two Lewmar 8 halyard winches. One Barlow halyard winch.
Moulded by Northshore Yacht Yards Ltd & completed in 1988. White GRP hull with blue style stripes and teak rubbing strake. Hull epoxied in 2002. White GRP coachroof with teak laid decks. Cast iron swinging keel. Hydraulic keel raising and lowering mechanism. Wheel steering in cockpit and below to skeg hung rudder.
The original owner wanted the Southerly lifting keel, but felt the standard of finish and specification could be better, and therefore had the vessel fitted out by Debonaire of Hamble. She was upgraded in all areas against a standard Southerly 115 to meet his exacting standards.
Last surveyed in 2016. All recommendations were done.
