A very nicely presented, FIN keeled example of the very popular Westerly Konsort, well maintained and extensively equipped with many recent upgrades. Designed by Laurent Giles, supplied by Westerly Yachts Ltd. in 1986 to the limited edition, Damask Red spec. 'Martola' with her yard number of D79 and Sail No. KT613, is one of the later fin-keeled examples of the ever-so-popular Konsort.
'Martola' has been in the current ownership for the last 5 years, with many upgrades and a good level of regular maintenance.
If you enjoy your sailing, but need the volume offered by the Konsort and appreciate the build quality and wooden finish of a prime Westerly-built yacht; all at under 30' then this is the boat to look at.
Martola's bilge areas are 'as dry as a bone', the teak veneers in good order and such features have been enhanced by the professional re-lining throughout. All this in addition to the replacement of the original switch panel, mainsail sail and canvas works together with the fitting of a refrigerator.

Six berths in two cabins with new upholstery and professionally replaced headlining throughout. New curtains and additional tacks to match the upholstery have been fitted.
240-220V AC sockets are fitted in the main saloon and galley and an immersion heater is fitted within the domestic hot water tank.
An entertainment radio/CD player with twin speakers in the main saloon is fitted at the chart table. A flat-screened TV and DVD player is mounted above the quarter berth at the aft end.
Forecabin with vee berths and infill, side shelving and overhead hatch. The hatch lens has been replaced and is free of crazing.
Heads compartment: with Jabsco toilet, pull-out wash basin and pressurised hot and cold water through a shower-type faucet. Under-deck closed locker. Large hanging locker, with divider and additional shelf over located opposite the heads compartment.
Saloon: Parallel settee berths to port and starboard; the port side's settee extends to make a double berth, a centre-line double-leafed table accommodates up to six comfortably, quarter-berth with additional light and ventilation provided by an opening portlight to the cockpit's foot well.
Chart table: with chart stowage within and deep fiddled hull-side shelving for almanacs, tidal stream atlases etc. with the Garmin 128 GPS and the VHF located here.
'L' shaped galley: with stainless steel sink, Hot and cold water, with foot-pumped back up pump to the freshwater supply, refrigerated top-opening coolbox, and an updated stove with two burner, with oven and grill (Plastimo Neptune 4500).
The Bukh DV20, twin cylinder (20 BHP) diesel is the original engine, it is a raw saltwater cooled engine but is fitted with take-off hoses to heat the domestic hot water through a calorifier within a hotwater tank that is mounted within the front end of the cockpit locker. The engine drives a fixed, three-bladed propeller via a conventional stainless steel shaft.
The engine has been regularly serviced by Lewis Marine Ltd here in Plymouth over the last five years of the current ownership, with all four of the resilient mounts replaced for the 2020 season.
A lip seal by Volvo Penta is fitted to the inboard end of the stern-tube.
The electrical systems have been updated and upgraded with a replacement 16-way circuit breaker panel instead of the original 6-way one, with two 110 A/hr batteries serving as a 'Services' bank and a 90 A/hr battery for engine cranking, selected and switched through the rotary change-over switch. Charging is by means of the engine mounted alternator.
A Bermudan masthead sloop rigged on the more desirable Kemp Masts spars, with a Rotostay reefing system fitted on the forestay. The standing rigging was professionally checked earlier this (2020) year.
A telescopic spinnaker pole by Kemp Masts is stowed on the port guardwires.
Halyards and reefing lines are led aft to banks of stoppers and two single-speed winches (starboard one upgraded to a self-tailer) at the aft end of the coach roof.
Halyards for the main sail and headsail have been replaced with new this year, together with the topping lift and mainsheet.
The mainsail (by Sanders Sails of Lymington) was new for the 2019 season and is provided with a full width top batten and two sets of reefing points and is covered with and supported on the main boom by a Damask red-coloured acrylic 'Packaway' sail bag and lazyjacks.
The boat also carries a cross-cut roller reefing genoa by Quay Sails of Poole whose age pre-dates the current ownership, but by how much is not known and a conventional symmetric spinnaker.
