ETESIAN
Etesian has been designed in 1983 by John Alden (actually it is one of 2 similar hulls designed by the Alden company with the pedigree) following the drawings of a J.G.Alden schooner of 1929. The yacht has been built in California by C&B Marine of St. Cruz with "cold molded technique". With three layers of Alaska cedar impregnated with epoxy resin The yacht had 2 owners and she has always been maintained by professional crew. She received a intensive refit in 2001 (with new engine, generator, air-condition etc, a whole total restoration in 2003 (new 220V electric, paint, sails, winches etc) and more extraordinary works in 2006 .

BROKER’S COMMENTS
Etesian is a true blue water cruiser , extremely strong and reliable construction . Her shape and her look fulfil and gratify any classic yacht lover’s desire of beuty and harmony and John Alden’s powerful lines are a statement of seaworthiness. This yacht has been fitted and equipped with the very best devices and outfits . The actual owner used the boat very seldom in the last few years as he owns also a much bigger yacht , but maintenances and care have been spared anyway, and on the other way, sails, engines, machinery and structures have not been stressed .
In a next future there could be need of a new teak deck.
