The C&C 40 is one of the more successful racing-cruising yachts built by C&C. This aft cabin model offer the space and privacy not fond in earlier models. There is a large head adjoining the stateroom, with access directly from the aft cabin or salon. Moving forward there is a large fully equipped galley along the port side and a comfortable navigation station on the starboard side. The main salon has a comfortable L-shaped setter along the port side and a straight settee across. On the center line is a large bi-fold table with storage. All the way forward is the roomy V-berth plus ample storage areas.
The interior wood work features a hand rubbed oil finish and a very nice teak and holly cabin sole. There is also a custom teak bar/liquor cabinet. Navy blue Ultrasuede cushions throughout the interior.
On deck Rhumb Liner has a generous T-shaped cockpit with lots of room for the crew and comfortable side decks making it easy to move around the boat.

Electronics and Mechanical Features
The well maintained Westerbeke W33 diesel has approximately 2900 hours and has had the 3000 hour service performed in 2018 plus recent engine belts. At the time of service a new glow plug was installed, compression check done, oil analysis (passed) done and Hurst gearbox was serviced. Both the fresh water and the engine sea water pumps have been recently replaced.

Hull and Deck Features
The boat has a white hull, deck and cabin with a navy blue boot stripe and feature stripe. The four fixed C&C portlights have been replaced with opening portlights with screens. The fore deck hatch has been recently replaced plus the seals on all the deck hatches. The keel has been removed/inspected and re-bed with 3M 4200. The rudder has been re-built. The fiberglass mast step had been replaced with a custom stainless steel step.

Rhumb Liner has a nice sail inventory including a 2015 UK Powerhead mainsail with two reefs and a 2015 UK 135% roller furling genoa. In addition there is 155% genoa, 110% working jib, a storm jib and a storm trysail. There are two spinnakers with turtles - a 3/4 oz and a 1.5 oz. Additional sails included. The mast is a double spreader keel stepped unit.
