The Southern Cross 35 is a double-ended cutter rigged cruiser. She is very sea-worthy and sails like a dream. Designed by Thomas Gilmer and built in 1982 . The hull is constructed of rugged double foam-cored fiberglass with a full keel and skeg supported rudder. The Cutter rig with staysail makes a great cruising boat. She is also easily singled-handed.

Traditional layout for an aft cockpit sailboat. V-berth cabin in the bow. Vanity/bureau, and hanging locker. Full length shelves run port & starboard above berth. V-berth is 7' long and 7' wide at the aft end. Head is enclosed to port with vanity sink and shower and sump with Hot and cold pressure water.
Main cabin has mast mounted centerline table with drop leaves. Settee berths port & starboard. Portside berth converts to double. Locker/shelves outboard. Oversized Nav.station is aft to port with a electronics shelf over. Galley is opposite to starboard with deep double s.s. sinks and 3 burner propane stove/oven.
