Below decks this Morgan Giles 30 is typical for her era, heavily constructed with lots of visible timber. It offers five berths in one cabin and the saloon with approx. 5' 11" maximum headroom. Forward is a V berth with infill which converts to double and good storage with hanging locker. Between the forward cabin and saloon is the heads to port with a hand basin to starboard with hot and cold water. The saloon has two good sized settee berths and a pilot berth to starboard with under berth storage. Two single settee berths in saloon with drop leaf teak saloon table. The L Shaped Galley is to port with work surface, single stainless-steel sink with hot and cold water. Flavel two burner gas cooker with grill and oven, cool box and lots of storage. Good sized chart table to Port with panel for instruments and lots of storage space. Heated throughout by an Eberspacher diesel cabin heating system with two outlets. There is a large cockpit area with large storage lockers. The cockpit has lots of room to sit with tiller steering.
Masthead Bermudan rigged sloop. Aluminium deck stepped mast and boom, Proctor 1990. Stainless steel standing rigging replaced 2010. Terylene running rigging, replaced as required, led aft to cockpit. Battened mainsail with lazy jacks and furling genoa (Rotostay). Manual backstay adjuster. Spinnaker pole. Slab reefing.

Yanmar 2GM 10hp two-cylinder diesel engine, serviced annually, with electric start and reduction gearbox with reverse to shaft drive with 3 blade fixed prop with rope cutter. Single lever engine controls. Indirect raw water cooling. Mild steel 15-gallon fuel tank. Cruising speed of 6 knots with a maximum of 7 knots. Cutlass bearing replaced 2016, last out of water service 2017.
2 x 12v batteries 120Ah (2014) charging from the engine alternator, 240v shore power connection, with Sterling battery charger.
Long fin cast iron keel with skeg rudder and tiller steering
Owned by the current owner from new, selling due to health reasons. Very lightly used yacht, sailed locally, Channel Islands, and the Netherlands. Laid ashore every year. Viewing highly recommended.
