A complete Refit was done in 2002 by the HinckleyYard in Maine, Connecticut with a 5' transom extension allowing for a dinghy on cranes to be installed on the transom as well as increase waterline length and cruising speeds. Adtech Manufacturing Ltd. did all the hydraulics and metalwork (arch, stanchions), new booms and downwind poles, and electrical system upgrades. Also at this same time all mechanical systems were upgraded and replaced with new engine, Genset, upholstery (Ultrasuede), 50 gal/Hr water maker, Cabinetry, complete new galley: freezer, refrigeration, stove top, oven, counter tops. North Sails upgraded winches, windlass, rigging, electronics, electrical circuits and wiring, steering systems, pulpits, stanchions, high tech central hydraulic system, safety systems, hatches and introduced 100% back up systems for functions critical to safety and comfort allowing for extended blue water cruising safely and comfortably.
The boat is a proven “blue water” sailor with 70,000 sea miles under her keel, including 2 Atlantic crossings and extensive cruising in the Mediterranean and Caribbean Seas, as well as the Pacific North West to Alaska - Coming through the Panama Canal In 2011 - then shipped North by freighter and has been in the NW since 2012 and adapted to meet the cruising needs of the North West including 2 Diesel Heaters and New skirts for the bimini enclosure.
This is a very special boat and needs to be seen to be truly appreciated. Haul out, bottom paint and servicing last completed May 2018.
